Alternative Theory of Reality & Deity
Back to the Source continued . . . . .
In any case, we must conclude that the potential for our actual world existed as an immaterial code, like DNA or physical laws, in the Singularity, which was a Planck-scale bottleneck of the primordial creative event, through which no matter could pass. Hence, the pertinent question remains unanswered by modern Science : where did that coded information come from : a pre-bang existence essentially the same as the physical reality we can measure, or from a metaphysical ideality more like the code of creation? Your guess is as good as mine. So let's speculate.
Both Physics of Quanta and Metaphysics of Qualia
Obviously, the Singularity contained the power-to-become, but not the being-itself, the ability-to-be, but not the reason-for-being. So, we must look beyond the point-of-beginning for the source of that creative power, and for the reason for our existence. Most science-informed people would agree on that much. But we might disagree on whether the Source was like materialistic Classical Reality, or more like post-classical Quantum Reality, or even like spiritualistic Pre-classical Mythology. Was that fountainhead an endless churning of space-time-energy-matter, or an abstract state of timeless potential?
My alternative theory is a sort of bridge between all of those worldviews. It accepts Classical Reality as the world of the physical senses; yet it can also accommodate ancient views of an unseen realm of mysterious forces known only by intuition; plus it adds the insights of Quantum Theory into the mechanics of the counter-intuitive fields that we know only by inference from abstract mathematical equations6. Therefore, we live & breathe in the world of senses & intuition; but we also exist in a social environment of theories & beliefs. So we humans occupy a part of the world that for animals doesn't exist : the realm of abstract ideas, of conceptual realities, and of theoretical worldviews. One common belief of human cultures is that, since the world obviously didn't create itself, some self-existent outside Force is a logical necessity. But a legitimate question remains : was that Prime Mover matter-based or mind-based, mundane or sublime, natural or supernatural? Again, your guess is as good as mine.

A hint of the future was provided decades ago by one of the most brilliant quantum pioneers, Wolfgang Pauli, when he said, “It is my personal opinion that in the science of the future reality will neither be ‘psychic’ nor ‘physical’ but somehow both and somehow neither.”

From Quanta to Qualia : The Mystery of Reality
Note :
The Enformationism worldview presented here is similar in some ways to mystical New Age type religions, and to Deepak Chopra’s Hindu-flavored neo-scientific model of reality, but is intended to be more pragmatic and less mystical. That practical emphasis leans toward the mundane, and away from the magical. Scientifically, it’s merely a minor course correction from the modern focus on quantifiable facts, to include appreciation of the intangible qualities of life. For social purposes, it is closest to the religious philosophy of Deism.
